Hi, I’m the maker behind Kozy Handmade Co. (formerly Kozy Crochet Kreations) — a small handmade business built on creativity, cozy vibes, and a whole lot of love.What started with crochet has grown into so much more. Today, I create handmade crochet pieces, sewn items, and custom vinyl designs, all crafted with care and attention to detail. Every item is made to feel warm, thoughtful, and a little extra special — just like something made at home.I believe handmade items tell a story. From choosing soft yarns and fabrics to designing vinyl details, I put my heart into every step of the process. I first learned to crochet when I was just nine years old, sitting alongside my grandma as she patiently taught me stitch by stitch. Those early moments planted a love for creating that never truly left — even when life got busy.Years later, during college, I picked crochet back up as a way to stay grounded and out of trouble. It became a creative outlet, a comfort, and something I could always return to. What started as a familiar hobby slowly grew into something much more meaningful.When I became a stay-at-home mom, I began selling my creations as a way to contribute to my household while still doing something I loved. I never imagined how much joy it would bring — not just to me, but to the people receiving my handmade pieces.Creating helps keep my ADHD and anxiety in check, giving my hands and mind something positive to focus on. But the most rewarding part is seeing how happy my work makes others. Whether it’s a gift, a custom order, or something made just for everyday use, knowing I created something that brings comfort or joy means everything to me.For over a decade, my business was built solely on crochet. In the past year, it’s grown to include sewn pieces and vinyl designs, allowing me to better customize each order and create truly personal items. I love the challenge of making something special for every person — and so far, I haven’t met anyone I couldn’t make something for.This business is a piece of my story, my family, and my creativity.
